Dr. Katy Campbell from University of Alberta, Canada visited CityU and met with cohort class students from Faculty of Business


On 4th May, Prof. Katy Campbell, Dean of English Language School, the University of Alberta, Canada, visited our school.  Our Vice Rector Prof. Fanqing Kong, Executive Associate Dean of Faculty of Business, Prof. Eva Khong received the guests warmly. The two sides entered a meeting for a discussion on the direction of future cooperation.

Vice Rector Prof. Kong sincerely welcomed the guests, then she gave a brief introduction on CityU’s development. Prof. Khong elaborated on an overview of Business Faculty and the general principles of its future developments.  After Prof. Campbell introduced University of Alberta, the two parties discussed different levels of future academic cooperation, including student exchange, joint degree and teacher’s continuous training etc. After meeting, Prof. Campbell met with the International Business Leaders' Corhort Class, the students are joining the 2-week “Global Economy, Trade and Language” program in July this year to University of Alberta. The guests ran the Canadian customs and the school's learning environment through with the students, and welcomed them to join Ualberta for a pleasant learning journey.
